Requirements

  • ā—Strong understanding of contract law, financial regulations and technology-related legal issues
  • ā—Experience interacting with regulatory authorities (e.g., VARA, MAS, FIU) is advantageous
  • ā—Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • ā—Ability to work independently and provide practical legal solutions

Responsibilities

  • ā—Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, partnership agreements, NDAs and technology contracts
  • ā—Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and mitigation strategies for new initiatives, products and partnerships
  • ā—Manage litigation and dispute resolution, liaise with external counsel and prepare legal documentation
  • ā—Ensure operations comply with laws, regulations and licensing requirements, particularly in fintech and digital assets
  • ā—Support corporate governance, including board resolutions, policy reviews and statutory filings
  • ā—Monitor regulatory developments in fintech, crypto and financial services and advise management on impact and compliance
