Job Description

About Altitude
Stablecoins crossed $300 billion in circulation. Real businesses now use them for cross-border settlements, contractor payments, treasury operations.
The fintech playbook assumed rails were fixed - you couldn't change ACH or SWIFT, only build better interfaces on top. Stablecoins change the rails themselves, creating an opening for a new generation of financial products.
Altitude is what we're building to capture it. Business accounts on stablecoin rails: global accounts, cross-border payments, cards, invoicing, yield. Over 500 businesses use it today. Built by Squads (Squads Multisig secures $15B+ on Solana). Backed by Haun, Multicoin, Solana, Coinbase, Electric Capital, Placeholder and others.
More on the thesis here.

The Role
You'll own how Altitude looks, from first impression through every interaction after.
We're looking for someone who can build the visual identity that defines Altitude across every surface: social content, sales decks, the website, product marketing assets, event collateral, video. If it has Altitude's name on it, it should feel like you touched it.
You'll work across the entire business, from the first ad someone sees to the onboarding flow they step through. Marketing, sales, customer success, design, product: you'll interface with every function and make each one look sharper.

What You'll Own
Brand Identity & Visual System

Define and evolve Altitude's visual identity: typography, color, layout systems, illustration style

Build and maintain a brand system that scales across teams without losing quality

Own brand guidelines that are actually useful, not a PDF nobody opens

Set the visual bar. Everything that ships should meet it.

Design content native to each platform: threads, carousels, short-form video, clips

Partner with the GTM Lead to keep daily content output visually sharp and on-brand

Create templates and systems that let the team move fast without sacrificing craft

Design assets for campaigns, launches, and cultural moments

Own website design: landing pages, product pages, feature announcements

Design in Figma and partner with engineering to ship pages that match the mock

Create digital assets for paid and organic distribution

Design decks, one-pagers, case studies, and battlecards that close deals

Partner with PMM to make sales collateral that's clear, sharp, and differentiated

Own the visual experience across onboarding, lifecycle emails, and in-app messaging

Design event collateral: booth assets, signage, branded materials

You have strong taste, and opinions about spacing, hierarchy, and color that most people wouldn't notice. Those opinions make the work better.

You think like a storyteller, not just a pixel-pusher. You care about narrative, sequence, and how design moves people through a story.

You're fluent in social design: you know what performs on X, LinkedIn, and YouTube because you live on those platforms.

You've built or significantly shaped a brand identity at a high-growth startup, not just maintained one.

You're fast and you ship without asking for permission. Brief to shipped asset in hours, not weeks.

You use AI tools (Midjourney, Kling etc.) to accelerate your workflow, not replace your judgment.

You're comfortable in crypto or fintech. You don't need the culture explained to you.

Requirements

A portfolio that shows range: brand systems, social content, web, video, and collateral. This is non-negotiable.

5+ years of design experience in fintech, crypto, SaaS, AI, or similar high-growth environments. This isn't your first rodeo, but you're ready for your career-defining role.

Figma fluency, plus comfort with motion and short-form video production.

Autonomous, low-ego, and AI-native. You ship, take feedback, iterate, and use generative tools in your workflow already.

Most brand design roles are about maintaining an existing identity. This one is about building an identity that defines a category. You'll work directly with senior leadership, touch every function, and own the visual system end to end.
This is the kind of role where the work you do in year one becomes the reference point for everything that comes after. The brand system you build is the one the company scales on. The visual language you define is the one competitors try to copy.
