Requirements

Responsibilities
- āOwn team execution and ensure sprint commitments are met
- āTranslate product and director-level direction into actionable engineering plans
- āBalance feature delivery with technical debt reduction and security hardening
- āIdentify and remove bottlenecks in development and release workflows
- āMaintain and improve engineering best practices, standards, and SOPs
- āPartner with Product to align engineering work with roadmap priorities
- āProvide technical perspective by surfacing risks, dependencies, and opportunities
- āLead, mentor, and grow a small team of 3-5 engineers
- āOwn onboarding, performance management, and career development
- āProvide direct kind feedback and set clear expectations
- āSpend majority of time hands-on writing code, reviewing PRs, and participating in RFCs
- āParticipate in incident response, postmortems, and follow-through on action items
- āChampion code quality, testing, and continuous improvement
