  • ā—Deep understanding of financial metrics including P&L structure, revenue recognition, margin analysis, unit economics, and ROI
  • ā—Experience working with financial or operational data at scale and handling high-volume messy datasets
  • ā—Strong data visualization and communication skills
  • ā—Ability to work independently on unstructured requests: scope problems, prioritize, and deliver
  • ā—Python for data analysis, automation, or financial modeling (pandas, numpy) (strong plus)
  • ā—Experience with dbt for data transformation and documentation (strong plus)
  • ā—Background in financial modeling including scenario analysis and forecasting (strong plus)

Responsibilities

  • ā—Design and own the financial metrics system including revenue, margin, cost drivers, unit economics, and P&L breakdowns by product, region, and business unit
  • ā—Build, maintain, and iterate financial dashboards in Superset and Grafana
  • ā—Develop and automate recurring financial reports and reduce manual Finance workflows
  • ā—Monitor data quality and consistency across financial datasets and flag anomalies
  • ā—Conduct regular and ad-hoc financial analyses to support budgeting, forecasting, and planning
  • ā—Analyze revenue trends, cost dynamics, and profitability to surface actionable insights
  • ā—Formulate and test financial hypotheses and identify efficiency and optimization opportunities
  • ā—Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders including CFO-level
  • ā—Collaborate with Data Engineers to design financial data marts and data sources in ClickHouse
  • ā—Contribute to dbt models and ensure financial logic is documented, versioned, and reproducible
  • ā—Translate business logic into data requirements and vice versa
