You will build and operate the core networking infrastructure that powers the platform. You will manage datacenter firewalls, configure L2 and L3 networking (VLANs, LAG/LACP, MLAG, routing), operate SONiC on ToR switches, and build VXLAN/EVPN fabrics. Requirements
- āHands-on experience with overlay networking technologies such as VXLAN and WireGuard
- āExperience with L2 L3 routing and switching and packet flow concepts at L3 L4
- āProduction datacenter networking experience operating routing switching and connectivity
- āFamiliarity with SONiC or similar network operating systems on ToR switches
- āExperience configuring and troubleshooting BGP and external peering
- āExperience documenting operational procedures and maintaining repeatable setups
- āAbility to work independently and take ownership of problems
- āStrong communication skills for collaborating with engineering teams
- āFamiliarity with Linux networking configuration and tuning
- āFocus on network performance reliability and diagnosing latency or bottlenecks

- āManage and maintain datacenter firewalls
- āConfigure and support L2 and L3 networking including VLANs LAG LACP port-channeling MLAG and routing policies
- āOperate and configure SONiC or similar network operating systems on ToR switches
- āBuild and maintain VXLAN EVPN fabric for scalable multi-tenant networking
- āConfigure and troubleshoot BGP including external peering and internal routing
- āMonitor and maintain network health performance and reliability
- āDesign and deploy new racks switches routing paths and cross-connects
- āEnsure networking setups are repeatable and well documented
- āIntegrate network with Kubernetes KVM and Ceph environments
- āMaintain firewall rulesets NAT policies VPN tunnels and security zoning
- āImplement network redundancy failover planning and capacity scaling
