You will act as the in-house lead for corporate and governance legal services across the Group, advising leadership, boards and business functions. Requirements
- ●Minimum of 4-5 years professional experience at a law firm or in-house legal team with focus on corporate governance, commercial law and regulatory/compliance matters

- ●Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available for this role
- ●Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

- ●Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply first principles and navigate ambiguity
- ●Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills

- ●Experience in or desire to work in regulated or technology sectors
- ●Ideally experienced in managing external law firms
- ●Ideally knowledge of IP, data privacy, employment law, dispute resolution, competition/antitrust law, tax or real estate
Responsibilities
- ●Provide corporate and governance legal services across the Fnality Group
- ●Lead evolution of corporate structure and governance arrangements
- ●Lead the Governance Working Group and manage the company secretarial function
- ●Prepare board and sub-committee papers, resolutions, memoranda and guidance documents
- ●Attend and prepare for meetings with internal stakeholders and third parties
- ●Draft, review, negotiate and interpret corporate and commercial contracts
- ●Manage disputes and contract-related dispute resolution when required
- ●Advise on entity formation and expansion into new jurisdictions and manage external counsel
- ●Advise on corporate fundraising and manage investor-related legal matters
- ●Co-lead management of the Group’s portfolio of commercial contracts
- ●Advise on internal business policies, risk controls and compliance measures and deliver training
- ●Manage external legal budget and engagement of external law firms
