Key Responsibilities

As an App Developer Senior Manager, you will be the core leader of the company’s app development business, responsible for formulating the app development strategy, technical roadmap, and work plan, aligning with the company’s business development goals and regulatory requirements. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of app development, including demand analysis, technical architecture design, development implementation, testing, launch, iteration, and maintenance, focusing on meeting the functional needs of core business links such as digital currency spot trading, derivative trading, fund recharge and withdrawal, and user asset management. This role requires in-depth understanding of mobile app development technologies, rich team management experience, strong technical research and development capabilities, and familiarity with app security and compliance requirements related to digital assets, to ensure the company’s mobile apps are stable, efficient, secure, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

1. App Development Strategy & Technical Planning

Formulate the company’s app development strategy, technical roadmap, and annual/quarterly development plan, combining the company’s business needs (digital currency trading, payment settlement) and industry technical trends (cross-platform development, app security, user experience optimization).

Determine the app technical architecture, development framework, and technology stack (such as iOS: Swift, Android: Kotlin/Java, cross-platform: Flutter/React Native), optimize the technical architecture, and ensure the scalability, maintainability, and security of the app.

Research and introduce advanced app development technologies, tools, and methodologies, promote technical innovation and optimization, improve development efficiency and product quality, and enhance the company’s app technical competitiveness.

Coordinate with the product team to clarify app functional requirements, convert business needs into technical solutions, and formulate detailed development plans and schedules.

2. Full Lifecycle App Development Management

Oversee the entire lifecycle of app development, including demand review, technical design, coding development, unit testing, integration testing, UAT testing, and launch, ensuring that the development work is completed on time, with quality and quantity.

Supervise the development of core app functions, including digital currency trading interface, order execution, fund management, user authentication, message push, and security encryption, ensuring that functions meet business requirements and regulatory standards.

Manage app iteration and maintenance work, collect user feedback and technical problems, formulate iteration plans, fix online bugs in a timely manner, and continuously optimize app performance and user experience.

Coordinate with the test team to formulate test plans and test standards, supervise the test process, ensure that the app meets quality requirements before launch, and reduce online risks.

Manage app release and update work, handle release processes in major app stores (App Store, Huawei AppGallery, Xiaomi App Store, etc.), and ensure the smooth launch and update of the app.

3. App Security & Compliance Management

Establish and improve the app security management system, formulate app security standards and specifications, and ensure that the app meets data security, user privacy protection, and digital asset security requirements.

Oversee app security development, conduct regular security audits and vulnerability scans, identify and fix security risks (such as data leakage, malicious attacks, and tampering), and ensure the security of user assets and transaction data.

Ensure that app development and operation comply with global regulatory requirements (FATF, MiCA, local regulations) and app store review rules, handle compliance-related issues, and avoid regulatory risks and app removal risks.

Cooperate with the compliance and risk control teams to complete app compliance reviews, regulatory filings, and security assessments, and provide relevant technical materials and explanations.

4. Team Management & Development

Build, manage, and develop the app development team, formulate team OKRs, performance assessment standards, and talent training plans, and improve the team’s professional capabilities (app development, technical research, problem solving, etc.).

Arrange daily work assignments for the team, supervise work progress, solve technical difficulties in the development process, and create a positive and collaborative technical team atmosphere.

Guide team members’ professional growth, organize technical training, technical sharing, and skill assessments, cultivate technical backbones, and build a professional app development talent echelon.

Manage team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, motivate team members to achieve work goals, and retain core technical talents.

5. Cross-departmental Collaboration & Technical Support

Communicate closely with product, trading, compliance, risk control, operations, and other departments to understand business needs, coordinate app development-related work, and ensure that app development is closely aligned with business development.

Cooperate with the backend development team to ensure the smooth docking of app and backend systems, and solve interface docking and data interaction problems.

Provide technical support for other departments, answer app-related technical questions, assist in solving app-related problems in business operations, and support the promotion and operation of the app.

Communicate with external technical partners (app stores, security service providers, etc.) to handle technical cooperation and coordination matters.

6. Project & Budget Management

Manage app development projects, formulate project plans, control project progress, cost, and quality, identify project risks, and put forward targeted risk mitigation measures.

Formulate the app development team’s budget plan, control development costs, reasonably allocate resources, and improve resource utilization efficiency.

Track and analyze project execution, conduct project summary and review, summarize experience and lessons, and continuously optimize project management processes.

Requirements

Experience: 7+ years of mobile app development and management work experience, including 3+ years of app development team management experience; preferred experience in fintech, digital currency, payment, or internet financial institutions. Deep understanding of app development processes, technical architecture, and digital asset-related business models, with experience in leading the development and launch of large-scale mobile apps.
