Requirements
- ā10+ years of experience in technology leadership banking or financial services transformation
- āProven leadership in building and managing high-performing teams and stakeholder management
- āSenior client-facing experience such as Director of Architecture or Principal Solutions Architect within banking fintech payments or capital markets
- āAbility to operate at executive and board level advising on strategy architecture and transformation
- āDeep domain expertise in banking and financial services including core banking platforms
- āExperience in custody treasury payments or capital markets environments
- āHands-on architectural experience across front-end and back-end systems
- āExperience with cloud platforms preferably AWS
- āExperience with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and containerization
- āExperience designing and governing enterprise-grade architectures using Python Rust or similar languages
- āExperience with JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks
- āExperience with API-driven and event-driven architectures and database backends
- āStrong understanding of regulated environments risk management and compliance-driven architecture
- āExceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- āSelf-starter able to work collaboratively across teams and geographies
- āLanguages: Swiss German German and English required
Responsibilities
- āBuild mentor and lead a high-performing architecture team
- āIdentify analyze and prioritize market needs across banking custody payments tokenization and digital assets
- āDefine and lead industry solution and architecture strategy
- āAct as senior trusted advisor and architectural authority for clients
- āLead executive client engagements architectural discovery sessions and solution strategy workshops
- āSet architectural direction for end-to-end solutions including front-end back-end integration cloud infrastructure DevOps and security
- āDrive customer solutions strategy within Service and Enterprise Products
- āTranslate market insights and client requirements into standardized solution patterns and reference architectures
- āSimplify complex architectures to accelerate enterprise adoption
- āDemonstrate expertise in banking architectures core banking platforms and integration of blockchain into regulated systems
- āOversee and support complex client engagements from strategy through delivery
- āProvide executive guidance on regulatory and compliance considerations for crypto custody digital assets and blockchain solutions
- āServe as Voice of the Market and Voice of the Customer to influence product strategy and roadmap
- āOwn creation governance and evolution of reference architectures and best-practice frameworks
- āAct as senior escalation point for complex architectural and technical challenges
- āPartner with commercial leadership on deal strategy solution architecture delivery models SLAs and commercial structures
- āContribute to resource planning and prioritization during strategic pursuits and deal execution
