You will join UTA's Finance Client Accounting team, acting as the go-to person for a specific department on all accounting matters. Requirements
- āBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred
- ā3+ years of any accounting experience
- āEntertainment experience preferred
- āPrior experience in a customer service focused role
- āHighly organized with strong attention to detail
- āSelf-motivated and tenacious
- āProficient in Excel and Outlook
- āAbility to handle very high volume of transactions
- āStrong verbal and written communication skills
- āGeneral understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- āSolid relationship-building skills
- āAbility to adhere to processes and procedures while working in a fast-paced environment
- āExperience with financial & enterprise systems such as NetSuite
Responsibilities
- āMeet with assigned agents regularly and their assistants weekly to ensure complete and accurate booking data and reports
- āEnsure client payments are processed quickly and accurately and in compliance with all legal and tax requirements
- āLiaise with clients and agents directly on invoices, statements, debits, tax matters, and account questions
- āEnter and maintain client bookings and review data for accuracy and completeness while considering revenue recognition standards
- āCoordinate with counterparts at other companies as necessary to complete booking details
- āProvide regular reporting to agents to facilitate forecasting, collections, and insights into client performance
- āCoordinate with the Cash Management team to ensure payments are applied to the correct booking
- āProvide exceptional customer service to agents and other stakeholders
- āIdentify opportunities to improve the client booking process
- āBuild long-term relationships based on trust and confidentiality
- āAssist with ad hoc requests
