Technical Skills:
Develop deep expertise in blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and on-chain operations (staking, vesting, governance)
Research and synthesize protocol whitepapers, technical documentation, and market data into actionable insights
Complexity and Impact of Work:
Own the full lifecycle of asset diligence projects from initial research through recommendation
Navigate ambiguity in emerging protocol designs and make sound judgment calls on prioritization
Organizational Knowledge:
Understand how protocol decisions impact Anchorage's product roadmap and client offerings
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure engineering, product, and sales teams have the protocol knowledge they need
Communication and Influence
Translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences
Build trust with stakeholders by proactively sharing relevant market trends, opportunities, and risks.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
5-7+ years of experience in blockchain/crypto, technical research, or a related field with demonstrated depth in protocol mechanics
The technical ability to read and digest protocol whitepapers, technical documentation, and on-chain data—and present findings clearly to engineering, product, design, and sales teams
Familiarity with crypto analysis tools including block explorers (Etherscan, Solscan, etc.) and data aggregators
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
A collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams
Although not a requirement, bonus points if:
You have previously published research, analyses, articles, or blogs on blockchain projects or protocols
You have hands-on experience with staking, governance voting, or other on-chain protocol participation
You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
