Requirements
- ā5+ years of software engineering experience owning complex systems
- āSignificant experience working with external partners in solutions architecture, integration engineering, or technical pre-sales
- āDeep understanding of at least one major DeFi protocol or solid grasp of lending and borrowing mechanisms
- āStrong architecture skills across smart contracts, APIs/SDKs, custody and compliance constraints
- āWorking knowledge of Solidity; able to read, review, and debug smart contracts and integration flows
- āProficiency with modern programming languages and AI coding tools
- āExperience designing or implementing integrations across multiple systems (APIs, smart contracts, custody providers) in production
- āExcellent written communication to produce clear specs, integration guides, and partner-facing documentation
- āHigh ownership and autonomy to take ambiguous partner projects from scoping to production
Responsibilities
- āWork with Business Development to understand partner needs
- āTranslate requirements into clear technical approaches
- āIdentify constraints, de-risk integrations, and define success criteria
- āLead the design of integrations with key partners
- āDefine system architecture across APIs, smart contracts, oracles, and custody solutions
- āArchitect around wallets, custody, KYC and access controls, compliance, liquidation tooling, monitoring, and operations
- āRun architecture workshops to align on user journeys, liquidity strategies, and go-to-market
- āProduce actionable deliverables such as architecture diagrams, specs, and integration playbooks
- āCoordinate across protocol, product, infra, legal, risk, and growth teams to unblock launches
- āWork closely with partner engineering teams to bring solutions to production
- āTurn field learnings into better product, tooling, and documentation
- āIdentify recurring patterns and contribute to reference architectures and best practices
- āKeep up with DeFi infrastructure, Ethereum, and regulatory developments
- āCommunicate complex topics clearly and effectively across teams and time zones
