Requirements

  • ā—Experience in operational and general ledger accounting
  • ā—Hands-on experience owning and optimizing a tier 1 ERP such as Oracle Fusion
  • ā—Experience leading cross-functional process transformation and standardization
  • ā—Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including broker/dealer transactions, crypto accounting, and consolidation
  • ā—Experience with FINRA, SEC, and broker/dealer reporting requirements
  • ā—Expertise in multi-entity consolidations and high-volume reconciliations

Responsibilities

  • ā—Lead, mentor, and grow the Americas accounting team
  • ā—Oversee accounting operations including transaction recording, reconciliations, and close processes
  • ā—Manage and optimize partnerships with managed services providers
  • ā—Leverage Oracle Fusion ERP to streamline workflows and drive automation
  • ā—Translate accounting requirements into systems requirements and lead integration
  • ā—Lead process redesign and standardization across Americas accounting functions
  • ā—Ensure timely and accurate accounting for broker/dealer and trading activity in compliance with US GAAP and internal controls
  • ā—Define and implement best-in-class accounting processes and systems for scale and regulatory readiness
  • ā—Partner with FP&A, Tax, Product, Legal, and Finance Systems to align accounting with business initiatives
  • ā—Continuously improve month-end and year-end close cycles balancing speed, accuracy, and compliance
  • ā—Maintain robust internal controls and manage relationships with auditors and regulatory stakeholders
