FX Operations & Execution:
Oversee end-to-end FX conversion operations including quote management, trade execution, and settlement across multiple banking API partners
Monitor real-time FX pricing engine performance — ensuring rate refresh latency, rate-lock accuracy, and best-rate vendor selection meet defined SLAs (99.9% uptime, 100% best-rate accuracy)
Manage and optimize intelligent vendor selection logic: net cost scoring, settlement speed, provider health scores, and geographic compliance checks
Handle escalations for failed transactions, rate staleness events, and provider API errors; drive root-cause resolution
Settlement & Reconciliation:
Own daily reconciliation across all currency inflows/outflows (T+1 target; 99.99% accuracy SLA)
Coordinate settlement flows across ISO 20022-compliant rails; resolve discrepancies
Partner with Finance and Clearing teams to maintain clean books and audit-ready records
Produce daily/weekly/monthly operations and reconciliation reports for senior management
Liquidity & Vendor Management:
Maintain and develop relationships with banking partners
Monitor liquidity depth for large transactions (>USD 50,000), ensuring competitive pricing and execution
Evaluate and onboard new liquidity providers; contribute to the multi-bank API integration roadmap
Negotiate FX spread tiers and volume incentives with providers
Risk & Compliance:
Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure FX operations adhere to applicable regulations across all supported currency corridors
Monitor and enforce provider failover thresholds (>1% error rate triggers automatic exclusion)
Support the MLRO and compliance function with transaction monitoring, AML flags, and regulatory reporting as required
Maintain operational controls around MFA, risk controls, and FX desk licensing requirements (e.g., Nest Trading Limited expansion)
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Product and Tech teams on new feature rollouts: recurring conversions, rate alerts, multi-currency wallet transfers, and remittance corridors
Contribute operational requirements and UAT support for new currency pair launches
Liaise with Customer Service on FX-related escalations; maintain SOP documentation
