You will lead the preparation, submission, and ongoing management of Money Transmitter License applications and equivalent international licenses. Requirements
- āJD degree and active Bar membership in good standing
- āMinimum 5 years of experience in crypto assets blockchain or fintech legal environments
- āProven experience obtaining Money Transmitter Licenses and similar financial service licenses including VASP approvals
- āDeep knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act
- āDeep knowledge of the USA PATRIOT Act
- āFamiliarity with the Howey Test and securities versus commodities analysis
- āExperience engaging with regulators such as FinCEN and NYDFS
Responsibilities
