**Overview
Seeking an experienced engineer to design and build core on-chain systems for a next-generation crypto trading platform. You will work across smart contracts, backend services, and exchange infrastructure. Ownership, speed, and security are key. Responsibilities
**
- Architect and implement smart contracts for trading, liquidity, and settlement
- Build backend services for order flow, pricing, position data, and funding
- Design secure, gas-efficient, upgradeable contract systems
- Integrate oracles, index price feeds, and risk-management logic
- Develop internal tools for monitoring, testing, and simulation
- Lead technical decisions, code reviews, and team best practices
- Collaborate with product and quant teams to refine trading features**
**
- 4+ years of engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Solidity and Rust
- Deep understanding of EVM, L2s, and contract security
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven services, and high-throughput architectures
- Familiarity with AMMs, derivatives, or on-chain trading mechanics
- Ability to take projects from concept to production**

- Experience contributing to a Perpetuals DEX
- Understanding of liquidation engines, margining models, and funding payments
- Knowledge of oracle design, TWAP signals, and index price calculation
- Exposure to zero-knowledge systems or TEEs for private order flow
- Background in MEV-aware design and transaction-flow optimization
Compensation: $85k - $150k estimated
Location: Texas Metropolitan Area Austin US
