Requirements
- āStrong background in crypto, digital assets, or modern regulated fintech

- āExperience with AI-driven or data-driven compliance solutions to improve alert quality and investigation efficiency
- āSolid knowledge of crypto-specific risks including blockchain analytics and sanctions in crypto
- āExperience with second line of defence, governance, and quality control
- āAbility to explain compliance requirements to product and engineering teams
- āPragmatic mindset focused on risk, efficiency, and outcomes
Responsibilities
- āOwn the end-to-end AML/CTF operating model including CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, investigations, SAR/STR governance, and sanctions screening
- āBuild and scale a global compliance organisation including management layers
- āOwn the second line of defence providing advisory, governance, quality, and decision calibration
- āReview and modernise existing compliance processes away from legacy and over-restrictive approaches
- āDrive compliance automation by translating regulatory requirements into tooling, configurations, workflows, and automated solutions
- āOwn the compliance tooling roadmap, including rules tuning, alert quality, and case management
- āDefine and track operational KPIs such as cycle time, quality, false positives, and consistency of decisions
- āDrive a pragmatic, risk-based approach balancing regulatory expectations, user experience, and operational efficiency
- āAct as or grow into a key contact for regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders
