Requirements
- āBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related discipline
- āCA, ACA, ACCA, ACMA qualification or equivalent
- āBig 4 audit or advisory experience
- āHands-on experience preparing and reviewing financial statements under IFRS
- āWorking knowledge of US GAAP
- āExperience in financial services, FinTech, payments, or regulated industries
- āProven experience in group consolidations, multi-entity, and multi-currency reporting
- āExperience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital assets
- āPrior exposure to remote or globally distributed finance teams
- āERP experience
- āAbility to communicate complex accounting matters to senior stakeholders
Responsibilities
- āLead the Financial Reporting team and deliver external audits
- āAct as key point of contact for external auditors and manage audit deliverables and timelines
- āEnsure all external audits are completed on time and without qualifications
- āCoordinate with internal finance teams, tax advisors, and external consultants for audit and reporting outcomes
- āReview and reconcile financial statements and supporting subledgers prior to auditor submission
- āPrepare and review statutory standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- āEnsure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records and disclosures
- āReport audit findings to the Risk Committee and implement action plans
- āBook audit adjustments in the ERP and financial statements
- āLead technical accounting analysis and prepare accounting position papers
- āAdvise on accounting implications of new products, transactions, and regulatory changes
- āSupport adoption and implementation of new or amended accounting standards
- āIdentify tax and accounting risks and support tax compliance processes
- āProvide finance and accounting support to business units on ad-hoc and project initiatives
- āCoach and mentor junior team members to raise technical and execution standards
