You will work hands-on across product, frontend, backend, and open-source community work. Requirements

- āFamiliarity with OpenWebUI, vLLM, LiteLLM, MCP or similar
- āStrong product instincts
- āAbility to ship quickly and own what you ship
- āAbility to travel occasionally for workshops
- āMaintainership or significant contributions in AI/ML or developer tools (nice to have)
- āExperience launching or running open-source projects or communities (nice to have)
- āBackground in public-interest technology or research infrastructure (nice to have)
- āTrack record of turning multi-repo systems into coherent platforms (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- āTrack and integrate the open-source AI stack
- āShip product features across frontend and backend
- āBuild glue code and debug inference backends
- āDrive open-source presence through clear issues, docs, and reviews
- āPrototype new capabilities such as routing transparency and multimodal support
- āNotice and fix user experience issues
- āAttend occasional team workshops
