Requirements

- āComfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and product teams
- āHigh ownership mindset and proactive approach
- āExperience implementing a FinOps practice in a scaling startup (nice to have)
- āFamiliarity with Web3 infrastructure or blockchain systems (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- āMonitor and optimize cloud spend across AWS, GCP, and other infrastructure providers
- āIdentify cost optimization opportunities, including right-sizing, storage optimization, and commitment plans
- āEstablish FinOps processes and cost governance
- āBuild dashboards and reports for infrastructure cost visibility
- āPartner with R&D, DevOps, and Product teams to understand infrastructure cost drivers
- āSupport unit economics, pricing analysis, and product cost analysis
- āInvestigate cost anomalies and usage spikes
- āWork with vendors to optimize pricing and commitments
- āPromote cost-efficient engineering practices
