Requirements

- āDirect experience managing usage-based billing platforms such as Metronome Orb and Stripe Billing and their integrations with Salesforce and ERPs
- āStrong understanding of SaaS revenue recognition and how usage translates to revenue
- āCustomer-centric approach to handling invoice questions and billing inquiries
- āAdvanced SQL skills
- āComfort operating in a fast-moving cross-functional environment
Responsibilities
- āOwn the billing stack and administer metering usage and billing logic for a multi-SKU product set
- āManage monthly invoicing end-to-end ensuring accuracy and completeness
- āProvide first-line billing support for GTM and Finance on contract terms billed usage invoicing anomalies discounts and configuration versus engineering triage
- āEnable internal teams to interpret billing data and build transparent billing processes
- āEnable customers to understand their invoices and contracts
- āImplement billing logic for new products in CPQ and billing software in partnership with Product and Engineering
- āSupport pricing and packaging rollouts and ensure downstream systems reflect changes
- āRecommend pricing models and renewal approaches based on analysis
- āMonitor operational health identify recurring issues and close process gaps
- āEscalate ambiguous contract discussions to collections as needed
- āCalculate and administer commissions for 40+ employees focusing on accuracy timeliness and scalability
